INTERNATIONAL POLICY ANALYST AT NATIONAL CYBER AND INFORMATION SECURITY AGENCY

Berta Jarosova works as International Policy Analyst in the International Relations Unit at the National Cyber and Information Security Agency of the Czech Republic. Her main areas of interest and expertise include cyber security and technology policy, cyber norms and standards, as well as countering hybrid threats. Her previous experience include serving as Policy Advisor to the Deputy Minister for Defense Policy and Strategy at the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic and as legal advisor to the delegation of the Czech Republic to the UN Open-Ended Working Group on cyber issues. In the past, she worked also worked in the Cyber Security Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Prague Security Studies Institute. Berta has an Advanced Master degree in Public International Law from Leiden University in the Netherlands and a Bachelor degree in Law and Political Science from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne in France. Berta is an alumna of U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program, CEPA Denton Fellowship, NATO-Europol International Cyber Security Summer School, the Geneva Centre for Security Policy and the Future European Leaders Forum. In 2019, she served on the U.S. Ambassador´s Youth Council.
