DIRECTOR FOR SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENT AT DOMINICAN MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Director of Science, Technology and Environment at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dominican Republic 

Claudia Taboada currently serves as Director of Science, Technology and Environment at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dominican Republic, making her the first young woman to hold the position. She has training in international cooperation and science. She has over 8 years of experience in multilateral affairs and over a decade in youth engagement and empowerment. She has represented her country in more than twelve youth forums on topics ranging from climate action, migration and non formal education.In her free time she is an active member of her community, spearheading initiatives that engage youth with the Sustainable Development Goals, climate action and peace.
