TECHNOLOGY REPORTER AT BBC NEWS

Jane Wakefield has been a technology journalist at the BBC for 20 years, with online, TV and radio experience. She covers all aspects of tech – from how the tech giants are being regulated, to privacy and ethics, broadband and educational tech. She is particularly interested in tech for good, but is also fascinated by future trends – such as artificial intelligence and the meterverse.  

She has made a series of documentaries for the World Service on topics as diverse as sex robots and drones in Africa and she presented the BBC’s Tech Tent podcast over the last year.
