SENIOR STRATEGY ANALYST AT MVM GROUP

Robert is an economist, with an interest in creating the strategic incentives for financing and executing the net zero transition. Currently working on business strategy and development at the Hungarian energy company MVM Group, he has 4 years of previous experience in M&A, corporate finance and energy sector advisory at a Hungarian boutique advisory firm. 

Before starting his career in Hungary, Robert had the opportunity to study abroad for an MSc in Finance and Economics at Warwick University in the UK and a BSc in Economics at University College London. During his time at UCL, he  founded the UCL Hungarian Society, which is one of the UK’s biggest Hungarian student communities with a now 10-year history and a thriving Mentoring Programme for incoming students. Since graduation, Robert continues to engage with younger students as a mentor and teacher of Economics at Milestone Institute, a market-leading advanced education institution focusing on the preparation of Hungarian secondary school students for further studies abroad. 

In his free time, Robert enjoys travelling as well as reading about and discussing history, politics and economics. He is also an avid fan of all things theatre, music and cinema.
